Lo! the fool is found looking for his Wishing well
To drop a coin in and simply receive his riches,
The wise man is found with his word to fruition,
To leave a dropped coin and to leave Fate’s stitches
Alone the fool will search for this Wonder Well,
To keep every coin of fantasy only to himself,
While the wise man gives more than he takes:
A good word or two from Wisdom’s bookshelf
From all libraries the fool will search for location,
Without knowing his own place to inquire or tell,
Unlike the wise man who stays put in his shoes,
Knowing the stance of integrity is not to sell
To the fool, only more disappointment arrives,
In vain he searches for that great Wishing Well,
Cursing himself with only harsh words to give,
To find that wise man only Wishing Well.
For him.
