The Twilight of Culture

When The Night-Skinned One is awoken,
Civilization witnesses the Age of Truth,
Where all men and women work in balance,
In deep comprehension of the Paradox.

When The Night-Skinned One falls asleep,
Civilization witnesses the Black Age,
Where all men and women remain imbalanced,
Losing themselves within their own Paradox.

When The Night-Skinned One is half awake,
Evil is annihilated with some of it shown mercy,
To replicate another day to contribute to humanity,
Through devious inefficiencies that test The Good.

When The Night-Skinned One is half-asleep,
Good and Evil are equalized upon the table of Truth,
And plunged into the darkness along with Necessity,
To test the Good in the face of Evil’s contribution.

Everything always happens in The Black Age,
While,
Nothing always happens in the Age of Truth.

Such is the Paradox of Men and Women,
As Stark as Good n Evil and Day n Night,
Merging only at The Divine Horizon,
In Eternal Twilight.
