A Simple Smile

A simple smile is all it takes to touch a man’s heart.
To make him forget the hardness of life,
For a moment amicable and true.
The show of those teeth without a threat,
Could be the inception of The Paradox itself.
But there are those who sadly remain in their hard shells,
Broken or afraid.
Where a simple smile will threaten their ground,
Making it difficult to communicate.
Evolution Engineering at its finest,
This simple smile laid the foundation to civilization.
Where those who could not smile back,
Wept their way into Extinction.
